Read moreThe Orange District Boy Scouts of America will hold their annual Cub Scout Boy Scout Camporee in Chapel HillNCat the American Legion Chapel Hill Post 6. This will occur on April 27 and run through the 29th. The Camporee theme is Boy Scout Olympiad with a host of competitive activities throughout the day Saturday, April 28, 2012. Over 400 cub scouts will participate during the three-day event.

It was their way of giving something to the community and at the same time draw attention to the urgent need to do things for others without any expectation of return.

Read moreThe Post is having a Yard Sale hosted by Thomas Rule on Friday and Saturday. All proceeds are going to American Legion Post 6. The sale site is 2436 Sedgefield Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27514. The sale hours are from 10-6 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

We have two main rooms for large groups that can be used in conjunction with the grounds. Some groups setup large meeting and dining tents.
