Funeral Honors at Arlington

No one wants to think about the loss of a comrade or their own passing.  However, it is very important to understand what is needed by the family.

A veteran is entitled to some special attention and benefits upon their death.  If they have a service connected disability, there are possible VA benefits for the surviving spouse and children.
We are not the experts, but we do know where to find answers to assist our members.
The Vietnam Veterans of American, New York Council, has created an outstanding guide that covers a lot of the benefits.  It provides New York-specific contacts, but the same resources, with similar or same names, are available right here in North Carolina.  Take a look at their Funeral Guide.
