Christmas Party Magic

It went so fast, 2012 that is.  Where did the year go?  It seems that we just held a Christmas Party, but it was a year ago.

We had a strong crowd, good entertainment, a silent auction, door prizes and a great meal.  Our evening started at 6 p.m. with a “cocktail hour,” where everyone had an opportunity to bid on items in a silent auction.  The items were donated by friends of the post as far away as Pittsboro and Hillsborough.  Their generosity provided the means for us to raise money to fund event expenses.

A special thank you goes to Pete Jaeger, Ed and Karen Gill, Bob Medred, the McCollum’s, Heavlin’s, Mark and Glenn Sumner, Bob Medred, Dan Moore, Paul Horwhat, Bob Mason and many others who invested their time and labor to make this an outstanding event.
